A start
As every Medic, Cop, Firefighter, Nurse, Doc or about anyone probably has, I find myself thinking that the collection of things that I see from week to week while interacting with the public would make an amazing, and unbelievable collection. War stories, those tales told around a bay table, with friends, or others in similar fields, are common to every occupation, but somehow street medics seem to have refined this into an art. This blog is to be my collection of these stories, told as best I can, to whomever cares to listen. The stories are mine, unless noted otherwise, and I will do my best to be as accurate in telling them as I can. Patient names, if ever used, will be changed, and some details may be omitted, but the jist of the story will remain intact. For the purists that may or may not ever come to read this collection, all the details of care may not be here, so go easy on the run critique -- that is not the point here (same goes for English majors!). I don't know how regularly I'll add to this, but I'll do my best to keep up. I'm just going to try to share some of the things that go on, good and bad, that most people never get closer to than the ambulance that passes them on the road.
